SiteGround does not publish CPU or RAM figures for StartUp. Its feature page uses the label “Essential” and guides to roughly 10,000 visits a month. Hostinger Premium lists one CPU core, 2 GB RAM and 40 PHP workers. WebQuickster BASIC allocates 2 vCPU and 2 GB RAM to the account, isolated with cgroups, with 512 MB PHP memory.

Traffic is described differently by each provider, so those figures are not like for like. WebQuickster BASIC states a 5 GB monthly soft limit, which is the lowest of the three and a real constraint for a busy site. Hostinger is unlimited under a fair use policy, and SiteGround is unmetered with visit guidance.

Domain and email work differently after the first year. Hostinger and SiteGround include the domain free for the first year, and Hostinger’s two mailboxes per website are free for one year. WebQuickster runs from Germany only, on Hetzner infrastructure. The certifications listed, ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and BSI C5 Type 2, are held by the data centre, not by WebQuickster itself. Hostinger and SiteGround run global networks, so keeping data in the EU depends on the data centre you pick at signup.

Support differs as well. WebQuickster works by ticket, checked every hour. Hostinger offers 24/7 chat and tickets, and SiteGround adds 24/7 phone. Only WebQuickster lists Danish, Swedish and Norwegian support.

Which plan fits which buyer

WebQuickster BASIC

Best fit if:

  • You run one site plus staging and care about the price from year two
  • You want daily backups kept for the whole contract period
  • You want data only in Germany and support in Danish, Swedish or Norwegian

Watch out for:

  • One website only, where Hostinger includes three
  • A 5 GB monthly soft traffic limit
  • No 24/7 chat, support runs through tickets

Hostinger Premium

Best fit if:

  • You need three websites and 20 GB on one account
  • You can prepay 48 months and want the lowest four-year total
  • You want 24/7 chat support

Watch out for:

  • Weekly backups
  • The low price needs a 48 month prepayment, then €9.99 per month
  • Mailboxes are free for the first year only

SiteGround StartUp

Best fit if:

  • You want 24/7 chat and phone support
  • You want a choice of PHP versions from 7.4 to 8.6
  • You want unlimited MySQL databases on an entry plan

Watch out for:

  • The highest regular price, €15.99 per month, about €612 over four years
  • No published CPU or RAM figures
  • One website and 10 GB, like WebQuickster BASIC

Verdict

There is no single winner. If the four-year total is all that matters and you can pay 48 months up front, Hostinger Premium is cheapest at about €144. If you prefer a shorter commitment, WebQuickster BASIC is cheapest after the first year (€6.10 per month against €9.99 and €15.99) and cheapest over four years of the two plans that bill 12 months at a time, about €235 against about €612.

If you need more than one site on a single account, BASIC does not fit and Hostinger Premium does. If 24/7 chat or phone support matters more than price, look at Hostinger or SiteGround. As noted at the top, WebQuickster is operated by the publisher of this site, so check the figures against each provider’s own page before you decide.

Frequently asked questions

What do these plans cost once the promotion ends?

WebQuickster BASIC moves from €1.30 to €6.10 per month, Hostinger Premium from €2.99 to €9.99, and SiteGround StartUp from €2.99 to €15.99. Per year at the regular price that is €73, €120 and €192. All figures exclude VAT.

What does “Essential” mean on SiteGround StartUp?

It is the label SiteGround uses for the resources on StartUp. The feature page gives no CPU or RAM figures, only the names Essential, Premium and Geeky, plus guidance of roughly 10,000 visits a month for StartUp. Hostinger Premium lists 1 CPU core and 2 GB RAM, and WebQuickster BASIC lists 2 vCPU and 2 GB RAM.

Why does backup frequency matter?

With weekly backups, a problem can cost you up to six days of changes such as orders, comments and form entries. WebQuickster BASIC and SiteGround StartUp back up daily, Hostinger Premium weekly. WebQuickster states that daily snapshots are kept for the whole contract period, encrypted and stored outside the customer environment. The other two providers do not state retention.

What happens to email and domain after the first year?

Hostinger and SiteGround include the domain free for the first year, then renew at the regular price. Hostinger’s two mailboxes per website are free for one year. WebQuickster BASIC charges for the domain from the start, from €6.60 per year at the same price every year, and includes three mailboxes with no time limit on separate mail servers.

Does it matter where the servers are?

Many European buyers prefer data to stay in the EU for GDPR reasons. WebQuickster runs from Hetzner data centres in Nuremberg and Falkenstein, Germany only, and publishes a data processing agreement. Hostinger and SiteGround run global networks, so the location depends on the data centre you choose at signup, and their data processing agreements are available on request.

How does support work without 24/7 chat?

WebQuickster BASIC support works by ticket in the control panel. Tickets are checked every hour and replies come in English, German, French, Danish, Swedish or Norwegian, normally within 24 hours at most. Hostinger offers 24/7 chat and tickets, and SiteGround adds 24/7 phone. If you need someone available at any hour, those two fit better.

Figures were taken from the providers’ own pricing and feature pages on 12 September 2026 and may have changed since. All prices exclude VAT.
